Douglas Tompkins’ expansion in South America Wildlife Sanctuary
Douglas Tompkins, co-founder of San Francisco-based Spirit, is now with its wealth to create wildlife sanctuaries in South America. Tompkins’ sanctuary in Chile is the largest in Latin America.
Now, with the help of his wife, Kristine Tompkins, former CEO of Patagonia clothing, he hopes on a network of protection of wildlife areas, Argentina and Paraguay.
